OutFest 2026 will host a number of local, regional, and national artists, who will be performing at venues across the city over six days.
OutFest includes an award-winning Main Stage production, exciting new work on our Emerging Stage, and genre defying work on our Open Stage. We also have YA (Young Audience) performances, as well as award-winning Comedy, and Music performances to end the festival. Our 2026 festival will also include the launch of inQubator, our brand new development series. There is also a Makers Market, and a dance-party with circus performances, After Dark.
If you’re outside HRM, we’ve partnered with Moxy Hotel to provide discounted accommodations, and if you’re along the South Shore, we’re launching a Bus Trip with St. Margaret’s Bay, and Lunenburg Pride.
The festival lineup includes a number of bold, and exciting pieces, proving why OutFest is the largest Queer performance festival in Mi’kma’ki / Atlantic Canada.
JOIN US MONDAY, APRIL 13 FOR OPENING NIGHT!
In partnership with Halifax Pride, the event will take place from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and is FREE/Open to everyone. There will also be Drag performance by Colin Sick, and Beef Pattie. Learn about the festival, meet the artists, and come celebrate the start of OutFest.

BUS TRIP
TRAVEL TO HALIFAX & ENJOY THE FESTIVAL
With support from the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund, a bus wil bring folks living on the South Shore to OutFest. All inclusive tickets will include your trip to, and from Halifax, as well as admission to our Main Stage show show.
