Mandate / Mission

Page1 Theatre is dedicated to producing, presenting, and developing original professional Queer theatrical work. We are particularly interested in supporting emerging artists and new work through our annual festival OutFest, and throughout our season.

Page1 Theatre is interested in developing contemporary stories that incorporate themes of social justice, migration, equality, and climate change. We are also interested in taking a multidisciplinary approach to creating, combining text, language, movement, and/or sound in our work.

We invite artists into a space with the goal of playing and discovering together. We encourage improvisation, the desire to explore, and take risks.
