OutFest is the largest Queer performance festival in Mi’kma’ki/Atlantic Canada, with local, regional, and national artists performing over six days.
The lineup includes an award-winning Main Stage production, exciting new work on our Emerging Stage, and genre defying work on our Open Stage. This year includes the launch of inQubator, our brand new development series., and also sees the return of our Makers Market. If you’re outside HRM, we’ve partnered with Moxy Hotel to provide discounted accommodations, and if you’re along the South Shore, we’re launching a Bus Trip in partnership with St. Margaret’s Bay, and Lunenburg Pride.

In partnership with Halifax Pride, the event will take place from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and is FREE/Open to everyone. There will also be Drag performance by Colin Sick, and Beef Pattie. Learn about the festival, meet the artists, and come celebrate the start of OutFest.
